CMX7131 and CMX7141:Digital(FDMA)PMR Processors
The CMX7131 and CMX7141 are half-duplex processor IC platforms built on FirmASIC technology that are suitable for use in digital radio, multi-standard and dual-mode (analogue/digital) systems.
FirmASIC component technology allows on-chip sub-systems to be reconfigured by a Function Image (FI): this is a data file that is uploaded during device initialisation that defines the device's function and feature set. Dual mode and multi-mode digital PMR radios can now be developed on based on a single radio platform conforming to a number of digital PMR systems/standards all with full analogue PMR backward compatibility.A number of the Function Images now support connection to CML’s CMX994 Direct Conversion Receiver. This enables the smallest, highest integration, multi-standard digital/analogue PMR radio to be realised.
Vocoder Support
A number of Function Images manage voice and data systems autonomously with the CMX618 RALCWI (Robust Advanced Low Complexity Waveform Interpolation) Vocoder. This minimises host microcontroller interactions enabling the lowest overall operating power and therefore the longest battery life for a digital PMR radio. Third–party Vocoders are also supported in a data transport mode of operation.

CMX7141是一颗高集成度的数字PMR处理器。利用一个基于限幅鉴别的RF收发信机,就可以实现一个紧凑、低成本、低功耗的符合ETSI’S ETSI TS 102 490 dPMR标准的数字专业对讲机。由于CMX7141是基于FirmASIC技术的产品,双模(数字/模拟)无线操作也可以通过改变功能镜像文件(FI)。FirmASIC是CML专利器件技术,芯片上子系统是通过功能镜像文件(FI)设置:这个数据文件在器件初始化时加载并定义器件的功能和特性设定。功能镜像文件(FI)能从外部的EEPROM自动载入或者从主控微处理器通过C-BUS串口载入。器件的功能和特性可以通过后续的功能镜像文件(FI)发布来增强,容易在线升级。
