In addition to our LED in the UV, visible and infrared spectral range EPIGAP Optronic GmbH offers a wide variety of photodiodes, from 150 nm in the ultraviolet up to 2600 nm in the infrared range.
These include large InGaAs photodiodes with an active area of up to 3 mm diameter. The InGaAs photodiodes have low dark currents and high sensitivity. In addition to the standard wavelengths of 800 nm to 1700 nm - as chip or in hermetic TO package - we provide the extended InGaAs photodiodes with increased sensitivity in the far infrared range of up to 2600 nm.
EPIGAP has a wide array of photodiodes in the UV range, based on materials such as GaN and SiC.
Since the requirements for LEDs are very different depending on the application EPIGAP Optronic GmbH offers their products in a variety of housing, such as 3 mm, 5 mm, SMD or TO. Also possible are customized housings or specially designed CoB modules.
Upon customer request design, viewing angle and the wavelength within the range of 265 nm to 1050 nm with an accuracy of up to ±3 nm as well as the optical performance can be tailored and produced according to the application.
Starting point for any optoelectronic solution is the LED chip, which essentially determines the later product characteristics of the LED. EPIGAP Optronic offers high end LED chips beginning in the deep UV range at 265 nm up to the high-infrared region at 4000 nm which have a very good degradation stability and high efficiency.
Excellent measurement supports the production and ensures compliance with the quality requirements. The chips can be selected according to optical and electrical parameters with an accuracy of up to ±3 nm.
Custom chip layouts for monolithic display chips and also for high power chips round out the profile. Expert advice starting from development, through product selection to the point of producing efficient solutions completes our service.
Light modulators from Jenoptik for modulation of amplitude, phase as well as for puls formation, pulse rate reduction and fast switching of high and low power lasers.
The integrated optical light modulators utilize the fast electro-optical response of photonic crystals for fast amplitude and phase modulation of laser light in the visible and the infrared spectrum. High modulation frequencies and low modulation voltages characterize the compact modulators.
Optical coupling is realized by different optional waveguide types. On request the modulators can be combined with specially adapted controllers or analog amplifiers.
• Wavelengths between 500 nm and 1600 nm • High modulation frequencies • Short switching times • Modulation of amplitude and phase • Reduction of laser pulse rates
